Copper Pot & Wooden Spoon Pickles

Jessica DeMarco, founder of Copper Pot & Wooden Spoon, grew up surrounded by family food and farm tradition. She pursued a culinary career working in fast-paced restaurants, but was ultimately inspired to slow down as she experimented with traditional methods of preserving the bounty she found at western NC's farmers' markets.

Jessica specializes in handcrafting fruit preserves and pickles using locally-grown produce from the NC mountains and packaging it all beautifully in her signature tall jars, which you can find in NC MADE's Cross Creek Box and Plank Road Box.

We're proud to be part of the success Jessica has found with Copper Pot & Wooden Spoon. She recently opened her own storefront in charming downtown Waynesville (thirty minutes west of Asheville) and was recognized in both Martha Stewart's American Made awards and Garden & Gun's Made in the South awards.
